What we collect and why
A review form collects your name, email, rating, review text and privacy acknowledgement, plus an order reference or proof file. We use it to verify that a review relates to a real purchase, moderate the text, contact you when clarification is needed, and decide whether to publish the rating and text.
A change-request form collects your name, email, relationship to the company, requested correction, privacy acknowledgement and any evidence URL. We use it to check the request against primary sources and decide whether the public company record should change.
Lawful basis and your right to object
We rely on legitimate interests to verify genuine customer experiences, prevent fraudulent or abusive submissions, and maintain accurate provider records. We limit the information used, keep identity and proof private, and retain it only as described below.
You may object to this use of your information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or need the information to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
What becomes public
If an approved and verified review is published, the public page shows only its rating, approved text, publication date and the label “Verified customer”. Names, email addresses, order references, proof, internal identifiers and moderation notes are never published. A change request never edits a company record automatically and the person who sent it is not identified publicly.
Proof files and security
Proof files are private and kept outside the public website. Uploads are treated as untrusted, checked for malware and sanitised before a moderator can inspect them. Original PDFs are converted to page images and are not retained.
Retention
Private evidence and form information are kept for up to 12 months after the final moderation decision, then deleted unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Published anonymous review text, rating and public date may remain while the review is published.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, object to its use, or ask for deletion where applicable. Email [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request is yours before acting.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to perform that security check under its own privacy terms.
