Link Building Rankings How we rank
Link Building Rankings
Companies

Every company we list, scored or not.

Each record shows the company’s Provider Quality Score state and, where the company appears on published rankings, its relative Service Fit Score position across them. Where no score exists, the record says so.

Scores and positions come from published M1.0 rankings. A company with no score is unmeasured, not marked down.

What relative SFS position measures

Where a company’s Service Fit Score placed it among the other rated providers on the same published ranking, converted to a 0–100 scale and averaged equally across every eligible appearance.

It is calculated from data, never assigned by an editor.

The limit of the metric

The metric compares a company only on published rankings where it actually appeared. Rankings that do not include the company are left out of the average rather than scored as zero. So it measures performance where compared, not breadth of coverage.

What the scores mean

  • Provider Quality Score (PQS)universal provider quality, 0–100.
  • Service Fit Score (SFS)fit for one specific link-building service, 0–100.
  • Overall Score (OS)the page-specific total, 0–100.
  • Confidencehow well evidenced a score is; shown beside the score, never multiplied into it.

How we rank

Every ranking states its criteria and their weighting, names the evidence behind each judgement, and flags where a service carries policy risk.
