Best GEO & AI Visibility Agencies in 2026

Rhino Rank leads with specified per-placement listicle mentions at published tier prices and 12-month replacement. FATJOE follows with a similar placement unit and lifetime replacement, Reboot Online and JBH with integrated GEO programmes, and Siege Media brings the strongest monthly measurement. Most engagements are custom-priced; Rhino Rank and Omniscient publish fixed figures.

GEO and AI-visibility agencies sell outside help getting your brand mentioned where AI answers draw on: earned articles, listicles, expert commentary and community presence, plus the prompt research and citation tracking that direct the work. The ten services here split into two shapes — individual placements you order one at a time, and monthly programmes combining research, outreach and measurement.[1][3][5][10][12]

Rhino Rank leads. Its per-placement listicle inclusions are the most transparently priced placement unit of the ten — four DA tiers with the same inclusions and 12-month replacement in writing — though its reports show live URLs, not citations inside AI answers. FATJOE follows with a similar per-placement unit and lifetime replacement; Reboot Online and JBH bring integrated GEO and earned-media programmes, Go Fish Digital and Omniscient Digital join them with analyst-led offers, and Siege Media brings the strongest monthly measurement of the cohort.[1][3][5][7][9][10][13][16]

Rhino Rank

Per-placement Best X listicle mentions with category context[7]

Introduction

Rhino Rank sells listicle placements one at a time: your brand written into a third-party Best X, Top X, alternatives or comparison page, with a natural mention, a contextual backlink and a live-URL report. Category queries, competitor set, use cases and destination pages shape the targeting, and you choose a DA tier at checkout. A prompt baseline and AI-citation tracking are not specified in the published listicle scope.[7]

What they do

You hand over category queries, competitors, use cases and destination pages; Rhino Rank finds and vets matching listicle pages, runs publisher outreach, shapes the mention and reports the live URL with DA tier and destination.[7]

Our verdict

We recommend Rhino Rank when you want a specified per-placement shortlist mention and already own AI measurement. Tiered pricing and 12-month replacement make it the easiest placement purchase on this page to scope. Do not buy it expecting citation proof: reports show placement URLs, not mentions inside AI answers, and illustrative SERP examples are not delivered results.[7][9]

Strengths

  • Specified placement unit with four DA tiers and published per-placement prices.[7][8]
  • Category, competitor, use-case and destination mapping before the mention is shaped.[7]
  • 12-month replacement on every delivered link, plus a first-order money-back term.[9]

Limitations

  • Reports list placement URLs, not repeated AI-answer citation measurement.[7]
  • Listicle delivery timing is not confirmed — agree it in writing before ordering.[7][9]

Price and engagement

Per placement in USD with no subscription: DA30+ $135, DA40+ $220, DA50+ $340, DA60+ $450. Confirm the checkout total; tax treatment is unverified.[7][8]

First paid order across any service: money back up to the amount paid, capped at US$550, within 14 days of delivery, once.[9]

Every delivered link carries 12-month free replacement if lost.[9]

What the external work delivers

A placement inside an existing third-party Best X, Top X, alternatives or comparison page: natural shortlist mention, contextual backlink and live URL.[7]

Six-step path: map buyer-intent targets, find source pages, vet quality and relevance, run outreach, shape the mention, report the live URL.[7]

What AI visibility measurement covers

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are named as intended surfaces, not a monitoring contract; reporting is the placement URL, not sampled AI answers.[7]

Illustrative SERP examples are labelled examples rather than delivered outcomes, and FAQ language about supporting AI answers is not a citation guarantee.[7]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Four DA tiers carry the same inclusions; the DA tier sets the price, not AI-citation weight.[7][9]

The first-order money-back cap and 12-month replacement live in the governing terms, which cover any service and every delivered link.[9]

Individual listicle mentions with buyer-supplied positioning[5]

Introduction

FATJOE sells Brand Mentions one placement at a time: your brand written into a listicle or a brand-review article on a DR30+ site that passes a traffic screen. You supply the selling points and use cases; FATJOE arranges the placement and reports back under its own white label. There is no prompt research and no citation tracking attached.[5][6]

What they do

You hand over your USPs and use cases, and FATJOE's team places a contextual brand mention on a relevant site, then sends a white-label report of the secured placement. The mention is the deliverable; the link may be absent or carry nofollow.[5][6]

Our verdict

We recommend FATJOE when you already own positioning and measurement and want individual external mentions to feed them. The per-placement model, defined input brief and lifetime replacement promise make it the easiest purchase on this page to scope. Do not buy it expecting AI monitoring: placement reports show secured URLs, not citations inside AI answers.[5][6]

Strengths

  • Per-placement purchase with no programme attached.[5][6]
  • Defined USP and use-case input shapes each mention.[5][6]
  • Lifetime replacement promise on placements, in writing.[5][6]

Limitations

  • Specific publications cannot be promised, and AI-answer monitoring is not included.[5][6]
  • The mention is the deliverable: a backlink may be absent or carry nofollow.[5][6]

Price and engagement

Per-placement order; the charged amount is confirmed at order, so check the total before paying.[5][6]

Lifetime replacement and a full refund for unmet product guarantees are advertised; the general terms separately call fees non-refundable while deferring to service policies — keep the product promise in writing.[5][6]

What the external work delivers

You supply USP and use-case context; FATJOE arranges relevant listicle or brand-review placements and white-label reports of what was secured.[5][6]

Target sites clear DR30+ with a traffic screen, but prior AI citation of a target page is not required.[5]

The per-placement model means you can buy a single mention without joining a programme.[5][6]

What AI visibility measurement covers

The white-label report lists secured placements; it is not a repeated AI-answer citation report.[5][6]

The page keeps a Google-indexing promise for the mention page while explicitly excluding specific LLM improvements or search gains.[5]

No named engine roster is monitored under this purchase.[5]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Placements run from 14 days; confirm the current timing when you order, and read it as a delivery expectation rather than a date for AI inclusion.[5][6]

Lifetime replacement and a full refund for unmet product guarantees are advertised; the general terms separately call fees non-refundable while deferring to service policies — keep the product promise in writing.[5][6]

Measured earned media and contextual brand positioning[1]

Introduction

Reboot Online pairs GEO analysis with its AiPR arm: thousands of branded and unbranded prompts mapped against competitors, then earned-media campaigns — original-research PR, expert commentary and contextual mentions — aimed at the categories you want to own. Citation-share benchmarks track whether the work moves your share of AI answers.[1][2]

What they do

Commission earned-media campaigns plus prompt and citation analysis that tie your brand to a category: FOI and original-research stories, expert commentary and context-wrapped mentions, refined through continuous experimentation.[1][2]

Our verdict

We recommend Reboot when you want prompt research and earned media from one team. The prompt analysis is the deepest on this page, and context wrapping keeps mentions tied to product and customer need. Agree the engine roster, placement quantities and sampling cadence in the bespoke scope — none is fixed on the page.[1][2]

Strengths

  • Prompt analysis across thousands of branded and unbranded prompts.[1][2]
  • Context wrapping ties mentions to product, expertise and customer need.[1][2]
  • Original-data and expert-led PR menu, including FOI research.[1][2]

Limitations

  • No fixed reporting cadence or per-campaign quantities on the page.[1][2]
  • Reported referral uplift is a case claim, not an attribution method.[1]

Price and engagement

Bespoke monthly GEO programme; no published amount.[1][2]

Minimum term, cancellation and cash remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[1][2]

What the external work delivers

Earned mentions, FOI and original-research stories, expert commentary and category PR, planned around sources, citation gaps and category association.[1][2]

Per-publisher selection thresholds are not specified, so ask how targets make the list.[1][2]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Prompt testing and citation-share benchmarks, plus recognition, relevance and recommendation tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.[1][2]

The exact contracted engine roster and the sampling cadence are not fixed on the page.[1][2]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Content and mentions are expected within a couple of weeks of kickoff; that is a delivery expectation, not a date for AI inclusion.[1][2]

Minimum term, cancellation and GEO-specific cash remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[1][2]

JBH

Best for

Earned PR with named-engine citation reporting[10]

Introduction

JBH sells tailored GEO packages that combine earned mentions with prompt mapping and AI reporting. Off-site work runs through thought leadership, expert commentary and proactive, reactive and newsjacking campaigns, aimed at relevant publications.[10]

What they do

Off-site outreach — thought leadership, expert commentary and proactive, reactive and newsjacking PR — sits beside prompt and competitor analysis, content and entity work, and dashboard reporting.[10]

Our verdict

We recommend JBH for brands that want earned PR and named-engine reporting in one programme. Reporting names Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity — the clearest engine roster on this page. Get a tailored commitment on output quantities and sampling cadence before signing.[10]

Strengths

  • Reporting across four named AI engines.[10]
  • Real prompt and competitor mapping before the roadmap.[10]
  • Explicit off-site PR execution, including newsjacking.[10]

Limitations

  • No fixed off-site output quota or reporting cadence published.[10]
  • Its 90-day enquiry claim is provider-reported evidence, not verified attribution.[10]

Price and engagement

Tailored proposal; no published package amount.[10]

Minimum commitment, cancellation and remedy unverified.[10]

What the external work delivers

Thought leadership, expert commentary and proactive, reactive and newsjacking campaigns place mentions that align authority with query and category context.[10]

Exact already-cited-source selection is not specified, and no detailed external approval protocol is stated.[10]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Dashboards track mentions, citations and competitors across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.[10]

No fixed sampling cadence is published; reporting recommendations feed continuous improvement.[10]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Tailored proposal; no package amount is published, so ask for itemised scope and a fixed quote.[10]

Minimum commitment, cancellation and remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[10]

Go Fish Digital

Go Fish Digital logo
Best for

Enterprise page analysis paired with citation-focused PR[16]

Introduction

Go Fish Digital folds digital PR into an integrated GEO service: semantic audits and page-level optimisation on your site, plus brand mentions on authoritative sources its PR team pitches for language-model visibility. Its AI Overview Analyzer audits where you appear today.[16][17]

What they do

A digital PR team secures brand mentions on authoritative, LLM-friendly sources as one named component of a wider GEO engagement covering audits, content and technical SEO.[16][17]

Our verdict

We recommend Go Fish for enterprise teams that want technical analysis and citation-focused PR under one roof. Targets include Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Bing Copilot. Agree recurring measurement and external output counts in the statement of work — the PR case figures are historical averages, not quotas.[16][17]

Strengths

  • Citation-focused PR named inside the GEO service.[16][17]
  • Named analysis tools, including the AI Overview Analyzer.[16][17]
  • Explicit Google, ChatGPT and Copilot targeting.[16][17]

Limitations

  • Much of the scope is on-site work outside this ranking's core remit; ongoing measurement and PR quantities need confirmation.[16][17]
  • Standalone-PR timings of about 12 weeks are PR promises, not automatic GEO entitlements.[16][17]

Price and engagement

Custom proposal; no amount on the service page.[16][17]

Minimum term, cancellation and remedy unverified.[16][17]

What the external work delivers

Digital PR builds original research, surveys, graphics and interactive content, then pitches relevant journalists; clients choose topics and collaborate on content.[16][17]

Entity mapping behind the PR is mostly on-site, so ask how external mention context is safeguarded.[16]

What AI visibility measurement covers

The AI Overview Analyzer audits visibility and reference frequency; an ongoing cross-engine cadence is not specified.[16][17]

Analyzer findings point at improvement tactics, but a repeated measurement-to-outreach loop is not specified.[16]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Audit-led entry; no ongoing delivery dates are published.[16][17]

Minimum term, cancellation and remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[16][17]

Omniscient Digital

PBS 56.1SFS 71.1OS 63.2
Omniscient Digital logo
Best for

B2B growth programs combining mentions and content[13]

Introduction

Omniscient Digital is a B2B organic-growth agency whose GEO offer runs from current-state LLM analysis through execution: citation engineering aimed at high-authority sources, brand mentions, PR and thought leadership, content and technical implementation, with ongoing LLM monitoring.[13][14][15]

What they do

Execution spans increased brand mentions, PR and thought leadership, content production and technical implementation — a growth programme with GEO inside it, not a standalone placement unit.[13][14][15]

Our verdict

We recommend Omniscient for B2B marketing teams adding AI visibility to an existing organic programme. Execution goes beyond audits, and the pipeline focus suits demand teams. Scope the monitoring cadence and the off-site share of delivery — neither is fixed on the page — and note the $10,000-a-month figure prices full service, not GEO alone.[13][14][15]

Strengths

  • Execution beyond audits: mentions, PR, content and technical work.[13][14][15]
  • Competitor and citation analysis before the roadmap.[13][14][15]
  • B2B pipeline framing for demand teams.[13][14][15]

Limitations

  • No public sampling cadence or external-output quota.[13][14][15]
  • Quoted conversion comparisons are provider claims, not attribution evidence.[13]

Price and engagement

Full-service engagements start at $10,000 a month — an agency-wide floor, not a standalone GEO quote, with the billing basis behind the $ symbol unstated.[13][14][15]

Minimum term, cancellation and remedy unverified.[13][14][15]

What the external work delivers

Citation engineering targets high-authority sources, though exact prospect thresholds are not defined.[13]

Brand and author authority plus traceable digital mentions connect content to the brand; external factual approval is unspecified.[13]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Ongoing LLM mention and visibility monitoring covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity; sampling controls and frequency are not public.[13][14]

The contract roster of engines is not fixed, so confirm which surfaces your reports will cover.[13]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Ongoing programme; no GEO-specific delivery turnaround is published.[13][14][15]

Minimum term, cancellation and refund or replacement remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[13][14][15]

Outreach Monks

Best for

Per-mention outreach with structured brand differentiators[12]

Introduction

Outreach Monks sells Brand Mentions as editorial outreach by the placement: a brand brief capturing category, audience and three to five differentiators, manual vetting of listicles and comparisons, editor outreach and a live placement report. Each placement carries a branded do-follow link.[12]

What they do

Brand brief, manual publication vetting, editor outreach and placement reporting form the fulfilment sequence, with use case and one or two differentiators woven into each mention.[12]

Our verdict

We recommend Outreach Monks for controlled per-mention orders with explicit brand context. The brief-to-placement sequence is tightly defined, with published traffic floors and a 12-month replacement promise. Read the dashboard for what it is — placement fields, not AI-answer tracking — and separate the delivery dates from the AI-outcome timeframes on the page.[12]

Strengths

  • Structured brief: category, audience and three to five differentiators.[12]
  • Published traffic floors on publication tiers.[12]
  • Live placement reporting with URL, DR, traffic and anchor fields.[12]

Limitations

  • The dashboard tracks placements rather than repeated AI answers.[12]
  • The DR-range headline runs broader than the two price cards on the page — confirm which tier applies to your order.[12]

Price and engagement

Pay per mention with no subscription; amounts are confirmed at order.[12]

12-month free replacement if a mention is removed; a service-specific cash refund is unverified.[12]

What the external work delivers

Per-mention manual outreach against publication tiers with traffic floors and a branded link specified.[12]

The brief records category, audience and three to five differentiators; each placement integrates the use case with one or two of them.[12]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Dashboard fields are placement URL, DR, traffic, anchor and publication — no AI-answer tracking is specified.[12]

Engine logos and names on the page describe intended targets, not contracted monitoring coverage.[12]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Placement runs 10–25 days; the 8–12-week and 3–6-month AI-outcome statements are provider claims, not delivery promises.[12]

12-month free replacement if a mention is removed; a service-specific cash refund is unverified.[12]

Siege Media

PBS 52.9SFS 74.0OS 62.6
Siege Media logo
Best for

Multi-channel citation growth with monthly measurement[3]

Introduction

Siege Media runs GEO as a multi-month programme: a month-one baseline of share of voice and prompt-level citation mapping, then editorial, research-PR, disclosed community and affiliate work aimed at the biggest gaps. Monthly reports cover LLM share of voice, citations earned and AI referrals.[3]

What they do

A prompt-level roadmap directs the external surfaces and content the team develops — research PR, editorial and affiliate outreach and disclosed Reddit presence, plus owned-content work.[3]

Our verdict

We recommend Siege for established brands ready for a longer programme with serious measurement. Monthly citation and referral reporting plus quarterly roadmap reviews are the strongest iteration loop on this page. It is not a short-turnaround placement unit, and the engine roster needs scoping.[3]

Strengths

  • Monthly LLM share-of-voice, citation and referral reporting.[3]
  • Gap-led channel selection across editorial, community and affiliate.[3]
  • Phased roadmap with quarterly reviews.[3]

Limitations

  • A named engine and monitoring-tool roster needs scoping.[3]
  • No published price; the longer horizon describes fit, not a verified minimum.[3]

Price and engagement

Custom engagement; no price on the GEO page.[3]

The longer horizon describes fit, not a verified contractual minimum; cancellation and remedy are unverified.[3]

What the external work delivers

Research PR, disclosed community work and affiliate outreach combine in one programme, with citation mapping directing surface choices by gap size.[3]

Source-worthy, brand-forward work is stated; an external fact and USP approval process is not specified.[3]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Monthly prompt-category share of voice, citations earned and AI referral reporting are included, with branded search and revenue KPIs alongside.[3]

No named multi-engine monitoring roster is fixed; LLMs and AI Overviews alone do not specify it — agree the roster in the proposal.[3]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Months 1–2 lay the foundation, months 2–4 activate, and month 4 onward optimises and reports.[3]

The longer horizon describes fit, not a verified contractual minimum; cancellation and remedy are unverified — settle them in the proposal.[3]

International PR campaigns with AI narrative tracking[11]

Introduction

Rise at Seven is a creative digital-PR shop whose PR strategy now selects publications for organic and AI visibility with topical relevance. Delivery runs through creative campaigns, reactive pitching, data reports and thought leadership across multiple markets, with AI share-of-voice tracking alongside.[11]

What they do

PR strategy connects brand and category narratives with selected publications across multiple markets, through creative, reactive, data-led and thought-leadership routes.[11]

Our verdict

We recommend Rise at Seven for brands that want creative, fast-moving earned media with AI narrative tracking attached. Rise Live aims ideas at media within 60 minutes — pitching speed, not a publication promise. Confirm a prompt-level measurement plan alongside the PR delivery.[11]

Strengths

  • Creative and reactive PR across markets.[11]
  • Semantic category positioning inside mentions.[11]
  • AI citation and narrative tracking.[11]

Limitations

  • No published prompt roster or sampling cadence; rapid pitching promises neither publication nor citation.[11]

Price and engagement

Proposal-led; component prices are not all-in GEO quotes.[11]

GEO minimum, cancellation and remedy unverified.[11]

What the external work delivers

Creative, reactive, data-report and thought-leadership routes place brand mentions with semantic category narratives.[11]

PR-first AI signals connect brand mentions to categories, but no fixed AI prompt or competitor baseline sits in the commercial page.[11]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Earned-coverage tracking watches AI share of voice, citations and narratives beside traffic and branded search.[11]

Placement campaigns targeting sources already cited by AI[4]

Introduction

uSERP runs managed mention and link campaigns aimed at the exact pages AI answers already cite. In-house tools find the source pages behind AI Overviews and LLM answers, then manual, bespoke outreach places brand links inside that content — with a live roadmap and weekly visibility as it lands.[4]

What they do

In-house tools identify exact source pages, then manual bespoke outreach places brand links in that content; an SEO and competitor audit opens the engagement.[4]

Our verdict

We recommend uSERP when placement inside already-cited source pages is the requirement. Exact-source targeting is the sharpest on this page. Verify separate AI-answer monitoring — the live portal tracks outreach, SEO and conversions, not repeated AI citations.[4]

Strengths

  • Targets the exact pages AI answers already cite.[4]
  • Contextual, manually built bespoke outreach.[4]
  • Live placement roadmap with weekly visibility.[4]

Limitations

  • Prompt inventory, named engine roster and recurring AI-citation measurement need confirmation.[4]

Price and engagement

Managed proposal; no published amount.[4]

AI-specific minimum, cancellation and remedy are unverified; older link-only terms do not transfer.[4]

What the external work delivers

Commissionable content-led bespoke pitches and mentions in top-ranking publications, placed contextually for brand authority.[4]

External entity and USP mapping is not specified beyond contextual placement.[4]

What AI visibility measurement covers

Live outreach reporting with SEO and conversion figures; repeatable AI-answer tracking is not established.[4]

AI Overviews and general LLMs are named without an exact engine roster — agree the list before signing.[4]

Scope the commitment and delivery

Weekly placement visibility and monthly KPI meetings; no AI-inclusion timetable is given.[4]

AI-specific minimum, cancellation and remedy are unverified; older link-only terms do not transfer.[4]

Buyer guide

Choose the external deliverable first

Individual mentions and integrated programmes are different purchases. FATJOE, Outreach Monks and Rhino Rank sell placements one at a time — a mention with context inside a chosen article. Reboot, JBH, Siege, Omniscient and Go Fish sell programmes where research, outreach and measurement arrive together.[1][3][5][7][10][12][13][16]

Audit-only and on-site-only work sit outside this page. Technical fixes may accompany a qualifying service, as at Go Fish and Omniscient, but an audit with no external delivery is not what is ranked here.[13][16]

Match sources to the questions your customers ask

The targeting method is the real difference between programmes. uSERP starts from the exact pages AI answers already cite; Reboot maps thousands of branded and category prompts; Siege builds a prompt-level roadmap and works the biggest citation gaps first.[1][3][4]

Before signing, agree the audience, the prompt set, the language and location, the engines and how sources get selected. A provider that cannot describe its selection method is selling outreach, not GEO.[1][3][4]

Define accurate brand context

A mention only helps when the surrounding words say the right thing. FATJOE takes your USPs and use cases as input; Outreach Monks records category, audience and three to five differentiators; Reboot wraps mentions in product, expertise and customer-need context; Rhino Rank maps category queries, competitors, use cases and destination pages before the mention is shaped.[2][5][7][12]

Ask to approve the factual differentiators before they ship. And keep one distinction straight: a paid brand-review placement is bought coverage, not an independent customer review.[5][12]

Separate placement delivery from AI citation

A live placement URL proves publication, not citation inside an AI answer. FATJOE is explicit about this: its page keeps a Google-indexing promise while excluding specific LLM improvements.[5]

Siege’s monthly share-of-voice reporting is the opposite shape — measurement of answers as a deliverable of its own. Rhino Rank sits with FATJOE: its reports list live URLs, DA tier and destination — placement facts, not citation tracking. Judge placement sellers on placement terms and programme sellers on measurement terms; never convert one into the other.[3][5][7]

Specify repeatable measurement

Ask for fixed prompt cohorts, observation dates, engines, language and location, sampling frequency and raw answer examples. These are what make a citation claim checkable month to month.[3][10]

JBH names its reporting engines and Siege commits to monthly reporting. Neither arrives by default — confirm cadence and sampling in the proposal, or assume a dashboard of placements.[3][10]

Connect visibility to business results

Google counts AI-feature traffic inside overall Search Console Web totals, so those totals cannot isolate a campaign's effect. Track AI referrals, engagement and conversions separately from sampled mentions.[3][18]

Siege lists citations, AI referral traffic, branded search and revenue KPIs side by side without merging them — that separation is the model. Provider case figures elsewhere on this page are reported claims, not verified outcomes.[3]

Compare timing, commitment and remedies

Placement sellers move fastest: FATJOE runs from 14 days with lifetime replacement, Outreach Monks quotes 10–25 days with 12-month replacement, and Rhino Rank prices per placement — confirm its listicle timing before ordering. Programme sellers move in months — Siege stages foundation, activation and optimisation across a longer horizon.[3][5][6][7][12]

Do not convert placement timing into promised AI inclusion. Ask for itemised scope, minimum commitment and remedy in writing; treat every figure as dated and confirm it in the proposal.[3][5][12]

FAQs

What does a GEO and AI visibility service deliver?

External mentions or earned media aimed at AI-answer visibility — listicle inclusions, brand reviews, expert commentary, research-led PR — sometimes bundled with audits, content and measurement. JBH's tailored GEO programme and FATJOE's per-placement mentions mark the two ends of that range.[5][10]

How is a brand mention different from an AI citation?

A mention is the external placement; a citation is an observed source reference inside an AI answer. FATJOE's reports list secured placements without claiming LLM inclusion, while Siege's monthly reporting measures share of voice and citations as its own deliverable.[3][5]

Can an agency promise that AI will recommend my brand?

No. A placement promise is not an inclusion promise — FATJOE explicitly excludes specific LLM improvements from its offer. Google's own documentation says AI Overview and AI Mode sources and responses vary, with no extra technical eligibility requirements beyond Search.[5][18]

Do brand mentions need a do-follow backlink?

Not for AI visibility. FATJOE states plainly that some mentions carry no link or a nofollow one, with the mention and its context as the deliverable; JBH offers linked or unlinked earned mentions. Outreach Monks goes the other way and specifies a branded do-follow link in each placement, and Rhino Rank’s listicles ship with a contextual backlink described as passing equity.[5][7][10][12]

Which AI engines should a service measure?

The ones your customers actually use — agree the list before signing. JBH reports Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity; Go Fish targets Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Bing Copilot. Naming engines is targeting; only a stated cadence makes it monitoring.[10][16]

How long does the work take?

Placement sellers quote delivery: FATJOE from 14 days, Outreach Monks 10–25 days; confirm Rhino Rank’s listicle timing before ordering. Programme sellers quote phases: Siege runs foundation in months 1–2, activation in months 2–4, optimisation from month 4. These are different deliverables, and none is a guaranteed date of AI inclusion.[3][5][7][12]

How much do AI visibility services cost?

Models run from per-mention orders to monthly custom programmes, and most engagements on this page are proposal-priced. Two figures are published: Rhino Rank’s per-placement listicle tiers — DA30+ $135, DA40+ $220, DA50+ $340, DA60+ $450 — and Omniscient’s floor of full-service engagements from $10,000 a month — an agency-wide figure, not a standalone GEO quote, with the billing basis unstated. Get a scoped quote and confirm every figure in the proposal.[1][5][7][8][12][14]

Can Search Console show whether GEO is working?

Only in the aggregate. Google counts AI-feature traffic within overall Web performance figures, so combined totals cannot isolate a campaign's effect; analytics can add conversion and engagement context. Use separate sampled citation observations to inspect prompt-level appearance.[3][18]

Do I need every GEO workstream?

Rarely. Siege's roadmap picks workstreams by citation gap rather than running every surface, and a buyer that already owns strategy and measurement can buy mention fulfilment on its own — FATJOE's per-placement product exists for exactly that buyer.[3][5]

How this ranking is built

Two scores produce this ranking: the Provider Buyer Score from our M1.3 methodology, and the Service Fit Score from this page's fixed AI-visibility rubric — prompt baseline 0.15, cited-source selection 0.20, external delivery 0.20, mention-context accuracy 0.10, named AI-engine coverage 0.10, citation measurement 0.15, campaign iteration 0.05, outcome distinction 0.05. Overall Score is the geometric mean of the two: sqrt(Provider Buyer Score × Service Fit Score). Every provider fact comes from the provider's own current pages, read on 5 September 2026. Full method: /methodology/.[19]

The full method is on the methodology page.

Summary

Provider Buyer Score (PBS) is the sum of the eight weighted buyer criteria. Service Fit Score (SFS) is the sum of the exact production contributions shown for this page. Overall Score is sqrt(PBS × SFS). Rank and tie status come from the production store.

Rules and dates

  • Ties: providers are grouped when their Overall Score gap from the group leader is below 0.5; tied providers are ordered alphabetically. Rank and tie status above are store-derived.
  • Conflicts: the most buyer-favourable specific current public promise that would reasonably form part of the purchase is credited. The conflict is recorded unless the versions can be reconciled; the same promise is not counted twice.
  • Display rounding: PBS, SFS, and Overall Score are calculated from unrounded production values and displayed to one decimal place.
  • Evidence cutoff: 2026-09-05. Page last updated: 2026-09-05.

Editorial standards and corrections

Every provider fact on this page cites that provider's own current pages, read on 5 September 2026, and dated in the source list. Where a provider has not published a term, the table says so rather than guessing — an absent term is not a bad term.

Spot an error? Every provider profile on this site carries a "Request a change" form, and anyone — provider or reader — can submit evidence through it. We acknowledge within 5 working days and respond substantively within 20. Successful corrections produce a corrected record and a dated public correction note.

FATJOE's Brand Mentions page advertises lifetime replacement and a full refund for unmet product guarantees, while its general terms call fees non-refundable and defer to individual service policies. This page keeps the product benefit and records the ambiguity; confirm the position in writing before ordering.[5][6]

Quality statements come from published provider terms or attributed provider claims. Prices and terms change, so treat every figure as dated.

Rhino Rank’s listicle page does not restate the US$550 first-order cap; the governing terms do, and the terms control. Confirm the cap and the delivery window in writing before ordering.[7][9]
